Passenger figures at Bratislava airport show increased growth in the last months of the year. While in october the number of passengers grew 16% year on year, the latest numbers show a growth of 19% in november. The airport was used by 86 257 passengers in november, for the first 11 months the figure stands at 1 460 555 passengers - a 14.5% increase compared to the same period last year.
Estimates for december show a growth just above 20%, fueled by new routes of Ryanair to Berlin-Schonefeld and Pobeda to Moscow-Vnukovo, both operated daily. The airport should reach 1,55 mil. passengers by the end of the year, making it the most succesfull year since 2011.
